Storytelling Essentials Workshop
The ability to tell a compelling story is part of our everyday life. We use stories to communicate with our friends, family, coworkers, strangers, and even with ourselves. The question is, how engaging are you as a storyteller and how compelling would you like to be?
Join us on Saturday, April 11th for a special interactive workshop where we will learn the fundamentals of storytelling and how to improve your skills through fun group improvisations, story-building exercises, storytelling tips and tricks, and constructive feedback.
Whether you have an inkling to try storytelling for the first time or you’re a veteran campfire storyteller looking to sharpen your technique, the intimate workshop setting allows for individualized attention so that you leave the day with solid story outline you’ll be excited to work on and share at a future RAW Storytelling event. In fact, by participating in this workshop, you’ll be guaranteed a storyteller spot at an upcoming RAW Storytelling live show!
This workshop is for you if you want to:
- Become a skilled storyteller so you can better communicate with your friends, family, coworkers, and others.
- Work on your public speaking presence and delivery so you can confidently share your experiences.

This workshop is taught by RAW Storytelling’s founder and host, Enid Nolasco. Over 15 years ago, Enid started her career as a storyteller in the television and film industry. FAQ:
Do I have to be an experienced storyteller to benefit from the workshop?
Absolutely not! This class is open to all students of all levels and no experience required.
Will there be a break for lunch?
There will be multiple 5-minute coffee/snack breaks and a 45-minute break for a quick lunch. Coffee and light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks. Lunch will not be provided, but multiple food options will be available close to the venue.
Do I have to participate in the RAW Storytelling event?
Nope! Although signing up for this workshop guarantees a spot at an upcoming RAW Storytelling show, participation is completely optional.
What is your refund policy?
Workshop admission is nonrefundable. However, if you would like to transfer your seat to a friend, contact the organizer here.
